Join Senior Gardner Andrew to learn about the construction of our Benjes hedge, also known as a ‘dead hedge’. This is an example of the sustainable gardening practices we aim to deploy in the gardens here at Lowther, through recycling waste materials whilst also providing habitat for our garden wildlife.
Meeting Point: Herony 2pm.
Your ticket allows you all day access to the gardens for you to explore at your leisure. You are welcome to go out into the courtyard and have some lunch in our cafe and re-enter the garden in the afternoon for the talk which will start at 2pm prompt. Please show your ticket to our Admission team whenever you enter.
Ask the Admissions team if you are unsure where to go, they will give you a map of the garden and show you where the meeting point is.
