Wetland Wildlife Watch
Led by Lowther Ecologist Elizabeth Ogilvie, the Wetland Wildlife Watch will introduce visitors to the new wetland hide. From here visitors will be able to see the river restoration works that have taken place and the wetland that has been created as a consequence. The walk down to the hide will give visitors the opportunity to spot wetland birds and woodland species.
The route is off‑trail and narrow, with sections that require some awkward manoeuvring. Sturdy footwear and confidence on uneven, muddy terrain are essential.
There are two sessions for this event: 10am and 3pm. Please select your session time when booking your tickets.
