Please note: The route is uneven in places so sturdy footwear and a reasonable level of fitness is essential. This session is recommended for ages 12+.
Parking: Please note that the meeting point for this walk is 1km away from the closest carpark. The two closest parking options are:
- Sawmill Carpark (near Askham Bridge) - a 1km flat walk along a gravel path to the walk meeting point at Low Garden's Bridge.
- Lowther Castle and Gardens, Lowther, Penrith, CA10 2HH - a 1.5km downhill walk across grassy paths and gravel trails.
